Fiction Editing
Editing fiction is tricky. The author's voice must be allowed to shine through, even if some "rules" have to be broken. Some writers can't abide semicolons; others insist on sentence fragments for style and impact. These are all valid choices, provided the work is consistent, coherent, and effective.
At the same time, plot consistency is important above all else. If a character's name changes midstream or the plot's timeline is garbled, the reader will be lost.
That's where a good editor comes in, and that's my specialty.
